Splash or Stash: Team The Bellas & The Mavericks!

Bella and Maverick, man’s best friend and two long distance lovers. Bella is young and spry and Maverick is young and spry… at heart. Bella is a downstate girl while Maverick is a true northern Michigan boy. Two worlds collide when these two get together for the annual Perchville celebration. Neither would let the other volunteer to take the plunge, so help choose for them!

We’re The Bellas & the Mavericks, named after our two four-legged motivators who believe in loyalty, courage, and showing up when it matters most. While they’d happily stash the cash and avoid the icy splash, we’re stepping up to support an incredible cause close to our hearts.

We’re raising funds for the Northern Michigan Children’s Assessment Center, which provides critical advocacy, forensic interviews, mental health, and medical services to children and families in our community—at no cost to them. Every dollar raised helps give vulnerable kids safety, support, and a voice when they need it most.

Whether your donation helps us stash the cash or pushes us toward the polar plunge, it’s a win for local kids. Donate, cheer us on, and help us make a real splash for a really important cause!

Splash or Stash: You Decide!

This team has bravely stepped up for Splash or Stash—a fun (and chilly!) fundraising challenge in support of the Northern Michigan Children’s Assessment Center and the children and families we serve.

Here’s how it works: every donation helps decide this team’s fate. Donors can choose to give toward Splash, sending the team into the icy Polar Bear Dip, or Stash, helping them stay warm and dry. At the end of the fundraiser, whichever pot has the most money determines what happens.

There’s also a way for the team to stay safe no matter what—if they raise $2,000 total between both the Splash and Stash pots, they automatically avoid the Polar Bear Dip altogether.

Important: When making your donation, please be sure to note “Splash” or “Stash” so your contribution is counted correctly.

No matter which option you choose, every dollar supports vital, trauma-informed services for children and families in our community. While this challenge adds a little fun and friendly competition, the impact of your generosity lasts far beyond the event.

Donate today, choose Splash or Stash, and help make a meaningful difference—while deciding this team’s fate!

DONATE TO PROTECT KIDS - AND KEEP US OUT OF LAKE HURON

We care deeply about supporting the Child Advocacy Center, which helps children feel safe, supported, and heard during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

Your donation helps in important ways.  It supports children - and not frostbite.

Funds go toward forensic interviews, therapy, advocacy and healing - and not emergency blankets for us.

Kids deserve warmth, safety and protection.  The CAC provides all three - jumping in the ice provides none.

Warm hearts beat cold dares.  Supporting kids is brave - us staying dry is just a bonus.

We appreciate your consideration in helping us support the children in our community when they need it the most - along with helping us not catch pneumonia.

Thanks in advance!

Chief Steve and Mayor Jackie

Hi Everyone! Iosco's 911 Dispatchers are proud to be taking the Polar Plunge for a cause that truly matters. Every dollar raised goes directly to the NMCAC, helping provide safety, healing and hope to children who need it most. We may be jumping into icy water, but it's nothing compared to the strength these kids and their families show every day. Thank you for supporting us and standing up for our community's children
